The U.S.S. Vengeance has introduced a new strategic depth to PvP combat. To fully harness this Legendary ship’s power and unique combat style, we’ve compiled essential PvP tips and insights to help optimize your tactics and achieve victory in your battles.
Understanding the Vengeance
The U.S.S. Vengeance is an elite Interceptor built for rapid, powerful strikes. Its distinctive combat pattern rewards thoughtful crew selection and tactical precision.
Key PvP Strategies
Leverage FC Locutus
As an Interceptor, the Vengeance greatly benefits from having FC Locutus. Ensure he’s seated to significantly amplify your ship’s capabilities.
Mastering the Vengeance’s Attack Pattern
The Vengeance unleashes its full firepower in round two, complementing Dukat’s officer stacks and dramatically boosting your second-round counterattack.
When facing formidable first-round attackers like the Borg Cube, prioritize crew configurations that enhance your durability through the initial assault.
Recommended Bridge Crew – Battleship Retaliation Squad
Utilizing the Battleship Retaliation Squad with Specialist Seven is ideal for taking down other players wielding the Borg Cube. This crew of officers maximizes the Vengeance’s offensive strength against the Borg Cube specifically through optimal bridge crew setup.
Optimize Your Lower Deck Officers:
Initial lower deck slots are limited. Try officers like PIC Hugh and French Marshal Q to take advantage of the Vengeance’s high hull HP and withstand enemy fire until your decisive second-round strike.
Romi is an excellent choice for defensive reinforcement.
Cloaking – Securing the First Strike Advantage
Once you’ve unlocked cloaking, officers such as Icheb and Infiltrator Tuvok become particularly valuable on the lower deck. Cloaking ensures you deliver a critical first strike, securing officer stacks.
Important Considerations
The Vengeance is not faction-affiliated, meaning it does not receive faction-specific research bonuses. Conversely, it avoids additional damage from faction-targeted abilities.

Blueprint sourcing will continue to change throughout the course of the Vengeance events. Keep an eye on each event to plan accordingly!
