We’re excited to bring you Patch 73.1 for Star Trek Fleet Command, packed with significant bug fixes and game improvements based on your invaluable feedback. This update enhances various aspects of the game, including the SS Revenant, Borg Polygon Armada, and much more. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to making the galaxy a better place for all factions. Below you’ll find the details of what’s been addressed in this update.
Refinery Updates
Adjusted SS Revenant Armada Bundles
We’ve fixed an issue where SS Revenant Tier 14 and 15 Solo and Group Armada bundles were providing fewer Epic Revenant parts than intended. Players will now receive the correct amounts, ensuring a smoother upgrade path for your SS Revenant.
Corrected SS Revenant Mark II Bundle Costs
The costs of SS Revenant Mark II Tier 5 Solo and Group Armada bundles have been adjusted to be more reasonable compared to the rewards provided by Armadas. This balance change will make it easier for players to progress without disproportionate resource expenditure.
Enhanced [Mark IV] Borg Type 3 Exchange Bundles
We’ve addressed an issue where the Tier 15 “[Mark IV] Borg Type 3 Exchange” bundles had significantly lower content than Tier 14. The bundle contents have been improved to appropriate levels.
Refinery Bundle Label Correction
To ensure consistency, we’ve corrected the refinery bundle labels to display “Reach Ops X to improve!” instead of the incorrect “Reach OPs X to improve!”
Borg Polygon Armada Fixes
Resolved Battle Initiation Issues
An issue where battles against Borg Polygon Armadas failed to start when certain officers were assigned has been fixed. Previously, assigning officers like Dajash Tolra, Byr Ch’Kelrer, or Toli could prevent the battle from initiating and consume directives without starting combat. Battles now start properly, and directives are only consumed upon battle initiation, ensuring your resources are used effectively.
SS Revenant Improvements
Updated Scrapping Requirements Text
We’ve corrected the SS Revenant scrapping requirements text to accurately reflect that it can be scrapped at Tier 14 Level 70, resolving previous inconsistencies.
Fixed Ship Assignment Issue
An issue preventing some players from assigning the SS Revenant to docks or swapping it with other ships has been resolved. The SS Revenant can now be properly managed in your docks, allowing you to utilize its full potential in your fleet.
Faction Store Enhancements
Improved Bundle Cooldown Display
We’ve fixed an issue where cooldown timers didn’t display immediately after claiming bundles in the Faction Store, causing confusion and error messages. Cooldowns now appear instantly upon claiming.
Ship Tutorial Slides Restoration
Restored Tutorial Slides After Ship Construction
An issue where tutorial slides were missing after constructing certain ships, such as the Borg Cube, has been resolved. Players will now see the relevant tutorials upon completion.
Localization Corrections
Placeholder Text in Missions Corrected
In the mission “Time is the Fire… Part 10”, we’ve fixed an issue where a placeholder text appeared instead of the ship name. The correct ship name now displays in all languages.
Alliance Improvements
Fixed Error When Creating New Alliance
We’ve resolved an error that occurred when players opened the alliance listing to create a new alliance.
Kir’Shara Artifact Adjustments
Prevented Multiple Ships Attacking the Same Hostile
Fixed an issue where swapping ships through the fleet bar allowed multiple ships to attack the same queued hostile. Now, once a hostile is queued for attack, it is locked to the original ship until the attack is complete or canceled.
Fixed Queue Counter Overlap
We’ve resolved UI overlap issues where the queue counter on the hostile object viewer made it difficult to read. The counter is now properly positioned, ensuring clear visibility of queued actions.
Improved Action Queue Interruptions
Addressed an issue where double-tapping in the system while using the Action Queue didn’t interrupt the queue or move the ship. Now, double-tapping will cancel the queue and navigate your ship to the selected location.
Reduced Delay Between Queued Attacks
Fixed a significant delay between attacks when using the action queue against hostiles. Attacks now initiate promptly, providing a smoother and more responsive combat experience.
Independent Archives Fix
Fixed Archive Tier Unlocks
We’ve resolved an issue where Archive Tiers were not retroactively unlocking for players who had already met the requirements. Affected players now have the correct tiers unlocked, allowing access to content they have earned.
Bookmark Navigation Correction
Corrected Bookmark Navigation
Fixed an issue where Bookmarks navigated players to their base system instead of the intended location. Bookmarks now correctly navigate to the saved destinations, improving navigation efficiency.
Arena PvP Schedule Display
Updated Arena Schedule Display
We’ve fixed an issue where an infinite symbol and incorrect date appeared when no Arena PvP tournaments were scheduled. The display now correctly indicates when no tournaments are scheduled.
Fleet Commander Stability
Fixed Loading Crash with High Ping
Resolved a crash issue where loading Fleet Commanders with high ping caused a null reference exception. The game now loads Fleet Commanders without crashing, even under high ping conditions.
Improvements Based on Player Feedback
Alliance Help Button Accessibility
The Alliance Help button now takes priority over the News and Videos buttons in the viewscreen, making it easier to assist your alliance members quickly. This change enhances the collaborative experience within alliances.
Updated SS Revenant Tutorial Slides Order
Based on player feedback, we’ve reordered the SS Revenant tutorial slides for better understanding:
- Ship Scrapping
- Ship Evolution
- Ship Combat
This new order provides a more intuitive learning sequence for players.
Ability to Reopen Ship Tutorial Slides
Players can now revisit the tutorial slides for their ships from the Ship Construction screen. This ensures you have access to important ship information whenever needed, aiding in strategic planning and ship management.
Officer Filter Enhancement
We’ve added a new Officer Filter based on loot and rewards, allowing you to easily find officers like Alexander Dane and Byr Ch’Kelrer. This enhancement simplifies officer management and deployment strategies.
Thank you for your patience and feedback as we continue to improve Star Trek Fleet Command. Engage!
Live Long and Prosper,
-The Star Trek Fleet Command Team
