Hello Commanders,
Seven years ago you took your first steps into a strange new galaxy. Your first base. Your first ship. Your first time getting blown up in a system you definitely were not ready for.
Since then, you have turned that beginning into something much bigger. You built alliances, defended territories, chased rare drops at ridiculous hours, and turned a game map into a living galaxy.
Today we celebrate seven years of Star Trek Fleet Command. More than that, we celebrate you.

Seven years of stories, not just arcs
Look back and it is kind of wild what you have done.
You have stared down the Borg. You have played the politics of Territory Capture, survived Incursions, fought through new kinds of armadas, and pushed into the Delta Quadrant. You have welcomed crews from The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Lower Decks, Strange New Worlds, the Mirror Universe, and more.
On paper, these are arcs and features. In practice, they are stories you lived together.
- The first time your alliance finally defeated an armada.
- The moment you unlocked a ship you thought you would never reach.
- That one server war people still bring up like an old Starfleet mission report.
Systems change. Loops evolve. The meta shifts. But the part that feels like Star Trek is the same. Facing something new, figuring it out together, and coming out the other side a little stronger and a little smarter.

The community is the crew
If Star Trek teaches anything, it is that no captain does it alone.
The real “engine” of Fleet Command is not a warp core or an impulse drive. It is your alliances, Discord servers, group chats, and late night voice calls.
You:
- Welcome new Commanders and help them through their first Borg probes and refinery decisions.
- Build tools, spreadsheets, and guides that blow us away.
- Organize peace treaties, full server wars, and everything in between.
- Share feedback when something feels great, and when something really does not.
When you tell us what feels confusing, unfair, or just not fun, that matters. A lot of the improvements, quality of life changes, and new ideas start from your conversations. You show us where the friction is. You tell us what feels like Star Trek and what does not.
The community is not “around” the game. The community is part of the game.
Community Managers past and present
Some of the voices you know best are your Community Managers. You see their names in Discord, on streams, and in replies when things get a little… turbulent.
For the 7th Anniversary, we brought Community Managers past and present together with players for a special roundtable. Eco and Obsidian Hamster sit down and talk openly about:
- STFC moments throughout the years.
- The toughest and most fun times the game has gone through.
- Answers to some of the community’s most burning questions.
- Spotlights on incredible fan art and community creations that capture what this galaxy feels like from your side of the screen.
Also, a special shoutout from members of the community you know and love.
Watch the 7th Anniversary Community Roundtable
Grab your alliance, put it on in the background while you play, and listen to Commanders and Community Managers reflect on seven years of adventures together.
Maybe you will even hear a story that you were a part of.

Charting the next seven years
Seven years is a long mission. The reason we are still out here, still exploring new quadrants and testing new ideas, is you.
As we look ahead, our goals are simple:
- Keep delivering Star Trek stories that feel true to the universe you love.
- Keep improving the systems you touch every day.
- Keep giving you new reasons to log in, team up, and say “Okay, one more armada.”

Thank you for every bug report, every idea, every meme, and every time you chose to spend a bit of your day in this galaxy. Whether you joined near launch or just started your first station, you are part of this anniversary.
Here is to the journeys behind us and the ones still to come. Together, we will keep boldly going.
Live Long and Prosper,
-The Star Trek Fleet Command Team
