Our latest mid-month patch, Update 85.1, introduces improvements designed to enhance your experience with outpost, FC Sisko, and more. Here’s what’s new:
New Content & Improvements
Ships & Refits – USS Vengeance Refit
- Epic Node-Infected USS Vengeance
Increases U.S.S. Vengeance Weapon Damage by 2500% at the start of combat and increases base Cost Efficiency of U.S.S. Vengeance Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic Ship Parts, by 10%. Requires 240 shards to unlock.
Research – Outposts
- Prime Solo Outpost Credits
Added a new two-tier Prime research in the Galaxy tree that increases loot from Regular and Elite Solo Outposts, improving the amount of Solo Outpost Credits and Elite Solo Outpost Credits dropped from Outposts and Retaliation Attackers (The max value increase is 75%.)
Bug Fixes & Quality of Life
The fixes below are part of the 85.1 update. Additional fixes and improvements will be arriving in our next update.
Viewscreen video playback
- Resolved the issue where some Viewscreen videos embedded from YouTube failed to play and instead showed a generic “video player configuration” error on certain devices. Viewscreen videos should now load and play correctly across supported platforms.
Chaos Tech – Visuals & Performance
- Chaos Tech background images
Resolved the issue where large background images in certain Chaos Tech screens could cause unnecessary memory usage and performance slowdowns when opening or upgrading Chaos Tech. Chaos Tech backgrounds now load on demand while still displaying correctly in the upgrade screen.
Fleet Commanders – Commander Screen
- Benjamin Sisko crash when browsing Fleet Commanders
Resolved the issue where the game could crash when tapping the side arrows from Benjamin Sisko’s Fleet Commander info screen, especially when using the left arrow to browse locked Fleet Commanders after viewing others. Commanders can now be browsed safely in the Fleet Commander screen without causing a crash.
Outposts & Hostiles – Retaliation Attackers
- Retaliation Attackers Stat Mismatch
Corrected an issue where some Non-Elite Outpost Retaliation Attackers had higher-than-intended Weapon, Shield, and Armor stats compared to previous iterations. These retaliation attackers now have the intended stat values for their level.
Independent Archives – Meridian
- Meridian Independent Archive mastery rewards
Resolved the issue where mastering the Meridian Independent Archive in the Independent Archives could actually reduce the amount of resources received, including Progenitor Alloy and various Particles. Mastery now correctly grants rewards that match or exceed the non-mastery rewards as intended.
