Commanders, the Arena has opened, and the Terran Empire faction eagerly welcomes your participation! Just as the Section 31 Faction was deeply tied to the special Wave Defense game, the Terran Empire Faction is intertwined with the Arena. To get started with the Terran Empire, you need to be at least Operations level 40.
Enter the Terran Empire Faction
In the Terran Empire Faction Store, you will find the Terran Arena Claim, which provides you with the Reputation and Credits required to advance in the faction. This claim requires Arena Emblems to purchase, which can only be acquired through participation in the Arena. So rally your alliance and show the galaxy what you can do!
Terran Empire Favors
The Terran Empire brings with it a powerful array of Terran Favors:
- Reinforced Arena Shield: Increases Shield HP during Arena matches.
- Reinforced Arena Hull: Increases Hull HP during Arena matches.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Reduces the cost of Rodinium Particles (Galaxy Research), Cosmic Particles (Station Research), and Assembly Medals (Starbase Research).
- Efficient Upgrades: Reduces the cost of ship parts for Mantis, Vi’Dar, Vi’Dar Talios, USS Voyager, USS Cerritos, and USS Titan-A.
- Syndicate Requisition: Unlocks an additional daily Syndicate XP claim, found in Building Resources in Gifts.
- G3 Innovative Engineering: Reduces Faction Credit cost for G3 Faction Ships.
- G4 Innovative Engineering: Reduces Faction Credit cost for G4 Faction Ships.
- G5 Innovative Engineering: Reduces Faction Credit cost for G5 Faction Ships.
- G6 Innovative Engineering: Reduces Faction Credit cost for G6 Faction Ships.
- Through the Mirror: Reduces the cost of Premium Rift Keys.
- Forbidden Favors: Unlocks a daily reward of Protomatter, Tier-up Catalysts, Reactors, and Fusion Rods.
- Vengeful Defense: Provides a flat boost to Apex Barrier against players during rounds when the opposing player’s ship has any status effect.
Reputation Isn’t Everything
Sourcing for the Mirror Universe synergy group officers is also available through the Terran Empire Faction Store, once the appropriate Reputation level has been reached. However, the Terran Empire differs from all factions that came before in one major regard: reputation isn’t everything!
You can participate in the Arena and earn enough Arena Emblems to max out your reputation, allowing you to obtain some of the Favors that way. But as Mirror Spock says, terror must be maintained! To access the best rewards the Terran Empire has to offer, you don’t just have to fight in the Arena—you have to win! The highest levels of the Favors require a high Arena rank to purchase.
Exclusive Rewards for Champions
There are also two extremely powerful acquisitions that can only be found in the Terran Empire Faction Store by high-ranked Arena combatants:
Emperor Georgiou’s Crown
- Description: Provides an unconditional Apex Barrier boost in PvP combat, with the usual exception of while defending your base.
- Requirement: Reach Arena rank Silver 2 to unlock.
Epic Officer Mirror Uhura
- Officer Ability: Master Manipulator — Increases existing Apex Barrier for 2 rounds after receiving HHP damage from a player ship with Assimilate.
- Below Deck Ability: Silent Partner — Increases Apex Barrier at the start of combat with non-Armada Hostiles.
- Requirement: Reach Arena rank Gold 2 to unlock.
Those who rise in the Arena ranks will also be able to purchase a limited but substantial amount of Premium Mirror Dust.
