Loading screen tips have entered STFC! These tips now appear on the main loading screen–make sure to check them out!

Have any tips you think we should include? Be sure to let us know in our feedback channels!

To improve the first days of our new arrivals, we are introducing the Cadet Corner! This new in-game chat section is targeted for players under level 20, and serves as a safe space where new players can connect with each other across different servers, and learn about the game in a new meaningful way. This new chat is also going to introduce the role of Mentors: players that are hand-picked by the STFC team.

Players have asked for it ever since the Artifact conversion has been introduced, and we are finally introducing automatic excess Artifact Shards Conversion. This improvement will automatically convert any excess Artifact Shards into Artifact Remnant Currency, reducing clicks in the process. This improvement also benefits the team internally, as improving the internal infrastructure streamlines the Artifact creation process.

Missions

Across 10 exciting new Core Missions, you will discover that at the end of the universe lies the beginning of vengeance. Following the unearthing of a derelict Independent station, the exiled prince Khan Noonien Singh and his Augment disciples have escaped their imprisonment within the Ceti Alpha system. Through the acquisition of forbidden Progenitor knowledge, Khan has defied fate itself and has claimed victory over James T. Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise. Now, the task has fallen on you to restore balance to this splinter timeline.

Additionally, you will come face to face with one of this tyrannical dictator’s most loyal followersLucretia, Hand of Khan. Join this devoted Augment Exile across 5 additional Side Missions as she takes you on a tour of Khan’s new regime. Prove your strength to Lucretia, and she may grant you the authority to initiate lucrative Priority 1 Away Team Assignments on her behalf. Continue to prove yourself a force to be reckoned with in Augment Exile territory by issuing challenges to Khan’s Champions, and who knows—perhaps even Khan himself may join your cause as Fleet Commander.

Fleet Commander: Khan Noonien Singh

Khan once ruled over a quarter of Earth’s population until the Eugenics Wars forced him into exile aboard the sleeper ship SS Botany Bay. Centuries later, awakened by the USS Enterprise, Khan attempted a takeover that ultimately led to his exile on the harsh world of Ceti Alpha V. Fueled by vengeance and newly acquired forbidden knowledge, Khan now seeks complete galactic dominion.

Khan specializes in high-impact PvP combat, enhancing abilities like Apex Shred, Barrier, Cloaking Criticals, and Station Combat. His unique skill trees—Visionary, Extremist, and Overseer—boost key battle effects like Hull Breach, Burning, and Morale. He also provides Apex Shred, Critical Chance and Critical damage in PVE, making him a strong addition to your collection of Fleet Commanders and effective to deal with the new hostiles and solo wave defense.

Khan’s skill trees—Visionary, Extremist, and Overseer—dramatically boost Critical Damage, Hull Breach, Burning effects, and Morale synergies.

The powerful active ability, “Wrath of Khan,” grants a 400% fleet-wide boost to Critical Damage lasting over 5 minutes. Players will also constantly benefit from enhancements to Apex Barrier, Apex Shred, Iso Damage, overall Critical Damage, and increased Critical Chance.

When actively assigned, Khan provides strategic combat advantages for station defense, Arena battles, node capturing, and battles against cloaked vessels.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

Below is the latest bundle of verified fixes landing with today’s Wrath of Khan, Pt 1 release.

  • Fixed an issue where some new story missions and their systems were showing as “Retrieving…” instead of their proper names and objectives. Your orders should now come through loud and clear.
  • Corrected an issue that left the Claim button lit up after you’d already collected a bundle, causing a “Bundle removed from store” error. One tap, one claim—no ghosts in the replicator.
  • Fixed an issue where opening more than one chest at a time only announced “1 chest opened.” The message now matches the haul—you’ll see the right number of chests claimed.
  • Fixed an issue where tapping Store after an Ultra Recruit token error displayed a blank screen. You’ll now be beamed directly to the proper offer, no void in between.
  • Fixed an issue where using Reroll could leave you staring at empty tasks until a full restart. Fresh tasks now appear instantly.
  • Improved an issue where attempting to start or reroll a task without actually having one active gave confusing feedback. The UI now makes it clear when you’re not yet committed.
  • Fixed an issue where crashes and severe lag plagued some captains during intense Solo Wave Defense battles. Performance has been stabilized for smoother skirmishes.
  • Fixed an issue where hostiles queued with the Kir’Shara artifact stayed stuck after your ship was destroyed, blocking other ships from engaging. The queue now clears correctly so backup vessels can join the fight.
  • Fixed an issue where tapping the back-arrow in Alliance leaderboards caused a crash. You can now retreat gracefully without a core breach.
  • Fixed an issue where the Daily Goal milestone scroller followed you into Field Training after claiming a reward. The scroller now stays in its own sector.
  • Fixed an issue where the GS-31 Active Ship Ability cooldown timer was missing from its activation pop-up. Time remaining now displays as intended.
  • Fixed an issue where hazard radiation showed improper values. All readings have been recalibrated—bring proper shielding!
  • Fixed an issue where swapping between multiple ships sometimes showed an ETA of 00s to a selected point in-system. Estimated travel times now report accurately.
  • Fixed an issue where the “A New Year’s Celebration” objectives in Boldly Go were truncating large target numbers. Full figures are now visible—no more mystery zeroes.

Your leadership now decides the galaxy’s fate. Will you triumph or fall beneath the Wrath of Khan?

Live long and prosper,

The Star Trek Fleet Command Team
