We often hear the requests to put things on hold and tackle bugs, and in response, our team recently held a “Bug Bash Week” where we paused other projects to tackle a significant number of issues reported by the community. We know how important stability and polish are, and we wanted to take a big swing at squashing bugs and refining your experience. Below is a list of the fixes arriving with Update 75. While we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished here, we’re not stopping—improving the game is an ongoing mission. We appreciate your patience and partnership in reporting these bugs.
Performance & Infrastructure
- Battle Performance:
Offload Close Battle to Event Processor – We’ve reworked how battles finalize on the back end. Instead of handling everything on the system tick, a separate event processor will close battles in the background. This should reduce lag and improve responsiveness for large-scale engagements. You can read more details about what this means in a previously released article with our Principal Engineer Luke.
Missions & Story

- Multiple Dialogues After Arena:
Fixed an issue where finishing an Arena match could trigger every mission dialogue at once. - Unlocalized or Placeholder Mission Strings:
Addressed several missions (e.g., “Holoinsight Part 5,” “Specters of Days Gone,” “Latinum? You Can’t Eat That!”) that showed placeholder text, unlocalized strings, or incorrect speakers in various languages. - Objective & Narrative Mismatches:
- “Holoinsight Part 5” had incorrect system name references.
- “Consequences” asked players to defeat Suliban Vessels in a system that only spawned Romulan Patrol hostiles.
- “Warrior’s Fury,” “Specialist,” “Summoner,” and more had reward discrepancies, grammatical issues, or mismatches in character portraits.
- “Never Surrender Part 11” and certain G6 Romulan Planetaries Missions lost their recommended-level indicator partway through.
- “Shoulders of Giants” had an incorrect portrait for Telma.
- “Ventures” mission hazard type references were inconsistent.
- “Temporal Cartography (Part 1)” was missing mission panel art.
- Shady Business Reward:
Tritanium reward in the mission “Shady Business” was incorrect, but now matches the intended value. - Officer Shard Rewards:
Certain missions like “Specialist” and “Summoner” gave double the intended Officer Shards for Kirk or Nero. These now match the correct amounts.
Holodeck

- Holodeck Expansion Missions Not Appearing:
At certain holodeck levels (5, 10, 15, etc.), the expansion missions in the ARCHIVE section wouldn’t unlock. These now properly appear once requirements are met. - Holodeck Recruit Incorrect PIP Notification:
Sometimes the Holodeck Recruit area indicated 3 items to claim when none were actually available. This is now fixed.
Refinery & Resources

- Hazard Particles in Survey Parts (Art Card Inversion):
The art for Hazard Particles in the Refinery was inverted. It’s now displayed properly. - Amalgam Cloaking Bundle Persistence:
After unlocking the Amalgam cloaking ability, its bundle would remain in the Refinery. This bundle is now removed once you’ve unlocked that cloak. - Continuum Refinery Preview Bubbles:
Some preview/greyed-out bundles (e.g., “Mark II preview”) showed a pip and bundle count when they shouldn’t. Those extra pips are gone. - Missing “i” Sections:
Certain Continuum Refinery bundles lacked the “i” info button to display costs and payouts. We’ve reinstated those details to keep things transparent. - Vidar Talios – Individual Credits Bundle:
The content description did not match the guaranteed payout. It now correctly aligns with the actual reward.
Factions & Faction Stores

- Mirror Dust Particles Not Displayed:
Terran bundles now show the reward amount for Premium Mirror Dust Particles. - Nameless II Frame Double Appearance:
The “Nameless II Frame” bundle was showing up twice in the Klingon Faction Store. It now appears only once. - FKR Store Tiers & Descriptions:
- Tier 21 “Icon” was labeled “Footsoldier.” It now correctly displays as “Icon.”
- Faction Allegiance Key and Vindicator “Spacework Circuit” tooltips have been updated to clarify where they can be obtained.
- Ex-Borg Favor – Commander’s Prerogative:
Clarified that the resource buff only applies to base skill points, not Rare Commander Skill Points.
Ships & Cloaking

- Protected Cargo on G6 Rare Surveys & USS Beatty:
Upgrades from T10–T15 (or T9–T10, respectively) caused protected cargo to decrease instead of increase. We’ve corrected the scaling so your cargo hold grows as intended. - Enterprise NX-01 Ability Icons:
The NX-01 had the same icon for both passive abilities. We assigned a unique icon to each ability to distinguish them. - Ship Ability Icons Disappearing on Cloak Activation:
Certain active ship abilities would vanish from the management screen after cloaking. Now all applied abilities remain visible. - Franklin Warp Interlock Mk. II Resource Info:
The “Where to Obtain” pop-up was missing for this tier-up resource, making it unclear how to acquire it. We’ve updated the info. - Cloaking + ASA Icons Stacking:
When players buff or debuff each other (e.g., Omega 13 or Cerritos), the first ASA icon could vanish. All relevant icons should now remain visible in the object viewer. - G1 Parts Text Consistency:
G1 Explorer, Battleship, and Survey Parts had inconsistent wording (“your” vs. “1★”). These are now uniform.
Combat, Armadas & PVP
- Battle Logs with Incorrect Descriptions:
Names, values, and ability descriptions sometimes didn’t match the in-game data. We’ve aligned logs with the actual combat reports. - Smart Speedups Error:
If you had just enough tokens to complete a project but not enough to push it under five minutes, the speedup would fail. This function now proceeds correctly. - ASA – Relentless Assault Ability Misinformation:
Some G3 ships displayed tiers or stats that were impossible. Their info is now accurate. - Instant Armada Tooltip Info:
The tooltip didn’t fully explain how to unlock “Instant Armadas.” It’s been updated to reflect the complete steps. - Wave Defense Overlapping Text:
When attempting to join Wave Defense with a third ship, “Max ships sent” overlapped with “00 sec.” This text now renders without overlap. - Wave Defenses – Missing HUD:
Sometimes starting a Wave Defense would hide your Alliance and Inbox HUD buttons. Those elements now remain visible. - Mirror Universe Timer Expiry (“Viewing System Error”):
Being in a Mirror Universe system after the timer expired caused an error. Now, fleets are smoothly returned to the entry rift without an error message. - Arena Combat Issues:
- Closing the Score Screen with Battlemode enabled caused the scoreboard widget to vanish.
- Member listing filters weren’t properly sorting squads.
*Both are now fixed so PvP features work as intended.
Away Teams
- Multiple Actions & Back Button Overlap:
Selecting several Away Team actions at once and backing out sometimes stacked multiple screens together. This is now resolved—closing one screen at a time won’t break your UI. - Collect Button UI Bug:
When collecting an Away Team assignment from the station view, the button occasionally drifted into the building view, blocking other interactions. We’ve anchored it properly.
Alliance & Alliance Tournaments

- Alliance Pips with Negative Values:
Alliance pips on the HUD sometimes appeared as a negative number. This display error has been fixed. - Alliance Tournament Credits Tooltip:
The text incorrectly stated credits don’t carry over between rounds, as that was the original design. These have been adjusted in recent updates, and the tooltip accurately reflects this change.
User Interface
- HUD/UI – Alliance & Inbox Buttons Gone:
The interface was disappearing when wave defenses started. Now the UI remains intact. - Score Widget in Arena Combat:
After closing the score screen, the widget sometimes vanished. This is corrected. - Fullscreen Settings on PC:
Previously, switching from Windowed mode to Exclusive Full Screen could fail to apply. Now it transitions properly. - Inconsistent Ship Skin Shards in Inventory:
Some ship skins displayed shards in your inventory while others didn’t. We have now standardized their visibility. - Voyager Refinery Text Cut-Off:
If no bundles were present, the text in the USS Voyager refinery was truncated. It is now displayed completely. - Outlaw Mechanics Node Description:
The Outlaw Research node said “Reduce base repair costs” instead of “Increases base repair cost efficiency.” It’s now corrected. - Limited Time Ship Upgrade & Repair Consumables Text:
Corrected an inconsistent display of “G3-5” to the proper “G3-G5.”
Bookmarks & Nodes
- Bookmark Navigation Errors:
Bookmarks would sometimes send you back to your base system rather than the intended location. They now steer you correctly. - Invisible Decoded Data Nodes on Low/Medium Graphics:
Mining nodes in Augment systems sometimes vanished on lower settings. We’ve added clearer visual indicators so they’re visible at all graphics levels.
Officers & Traits

- Officer Trait XP Display:
When leveling up an officer’s traits from certain screens, the top bar didn’t show how much Trait XP you actually had. That number is now visible. - Incorrect Officer Displayed During Upgrades:
Occasionally a different officer would appear in the upgrade interface. It now correctly shows the selected officer. - Strike Team Ortegas Name Typo:
The last letter “s” was missing in the short name. We’ve fixed it so “Strike Team Ortegas” is spelled correctly. - SNW Pike & Lorca “Quick Thinking” Overlap:
Both officers shared the same ability name. They now have unique names. - Fleet Commanders – Captain Kirk’s “Probe Collectors” Skill:
The description was vague on which Nanoprobes it affected. We clarified its effect so you know exactly what you’re boosting.
Research & Tech
- Research Closure on ESC Key:
Pressing ESC on Windows or Mac to close research windows sometimes re-opened them or broke the UI. The ESC key now behaves like the “X” button, cleanly closing the window. - Isolytic Dragonscales / Barrage Description:
These researches also affect specific Armadas, but the text only mentioned hostiles. The description now clarifies they work on relevant Armadas as well. - Station Tree – “4★ Explorer Swift Repair” Asset:
Had the Survey icon instead of Explorer. It has now been updated to the correct symbol.
Other Fixes & Cleanups

- Artifact – Stone of Memory Chest:
This chest could appear even after you’d already unlocked the artifact at Level 8+. We reconfigured the chest so it no longer appears once you’ve unlocked the artifact at Level 8+. - Void Configuration Token String:
The non-convert message was unclear. We improved the text to reflect its correct function. - Base Buildings Misalignment (PC):
Tritanium Generator buildings would shift around after upgrading to level 61+. Their placement now remains where it should. - Webstore Bundles Missing:
Certain bundles like “Holo-Field Amplifiers” or “65 Tetryons” didn’t show in the Webstore’s Gift Store Group for some players (though visible in the in-game store). Both should now match. - Ship – Hostile Tooltip Mismatch (Romulan Imperial Legion Captains):
The tooltip for some Romulan hostiles read as “Romulan Captain” instead of the correct lore text. We have updated it to match the intended description.
When to Expect These Fixes
All fixes listed here are planned for Update 75 – Year of Hell, Part 2, releasing on Tuesday, February 4. Stay tuned for more details, and keep an eye on our official channels for any changes or additional notes.
