Exciting Changes and 6-Year Anniversary Celebrations!

By Bek 18 November 2024

Greetings, Commanders! As we reach the middle of the month, we’re thrilled to share some exciting updates coming to Star Trek Fleet Command. This month’s highlights include improvements to Arena Combat, the return of Alliance Tournaments, a Transporter Patterns update, and our 6-Year Anniversary celebration! Let’s dive into all the details.

Arena Combat Enhancements

Since its launch, Arena Combat has been a hot topic in the community, and we’ve been hard at work making it better based on your feedback. Last month, we made adjustments to start times and squad sizes, and since then, we’ve continued to improve the feature with updates designed to make the experience more accessible, balanced, and enjoyable, such as:

  • Improved Matchmaking
  • Gameplay and UI Updates
  • Ready State
  • Potential Cross-Alliance Capability

We covered everything in-depth about the upcoming changes in this article, so be sure to take a look!

Alliance Tournaments Are Back!

The Alliance Tournaments are returning! From Thursday, November 21st to Tuesday, November 26th, alliances will battle it out over five days to climb the leaderboards and prove their strength.

New Tasks and Updates

To keep things fresh, we’ve revamped 25% of the tasks on the Alliance Task Board. Some of the exciting new tasks include:

  • MU Hostiles
  • MU Wave Defense
  • Defeating Hostiles with Chaos Tech Equipped
  • G6 Solo Armadas
  • Loot Goblins
  • Upgrading New Station Buildings

We’ve also made managing tasks easier:

  • New tasks will be clearly highlighted.
  • Pending tasks will now show as empty slots until refreshed.
  • Enhanced visuals make it easier to navigate and complete tasks.
  • An alliance’s league rank will now appear on profiles and leaderboards.
  • Task refresh currency is now displayed directly on the Alliance Task Screen.

Reward store currency has also been added to more tasks, giving you more flexibility to earn and spend as you tackle objectives.

Transporter Patterns Update

We’re expanding the Transporter Patterns store with new officer options! Here’s who you’ll see:

  • HG Worf
  • Lorca
  • Michael Burnham
  • SNW Hemmer
  • Benjamin Sisko

Benjamin Sisko remains the Best-in-Slot officer for most Armadas, so be sure to add him to your roster if you haven’t already!
