The feedback provided by the community is invaluable to us, and we wanted to talk about a hot topic that has been circulating since the feature was first released Forbidden Tech. When first launched, there were a lot of comments about how upgrading and tiering up the different Forbidden Tech was too reliant on chance and that it was frustrating to try and progress in. This month, we adjusted to align this feature with everyone’s expectations.

At the start of Update 59, changes to the baseline upgrade chance as well as Q’s Benevolence have been adjusted:

•  The baseline upgrade chance for all Forbbiden Tech has had their caps removed. If your Court of Q and Ascension rank are at the proper level for the Forbidden Tech you’re trying to level/tier, there can be a 100% chance of success.
• Q’s Benevolence has also been adjusted and gives a higher percent chance at upgrading if you don’t succeed at an upgrade/tier up.
  • The first time you fail at your upgrade/tier-up, Q will give you a 10% additional chance to succeed.
  • Each failure after that will grand an additional 5% chance, up to 100%
