Patch Notes: Update 93 – Infinite Diversity in Infinite Q

By Obsidian Hamster 23 July 2026

“Don’t whale on the Commander, old man. I’ve got things well in hand. I just thought you might like to see me in action. As someone who was nearly my godfather, after all.”

With the help of Ambassador Spock and Wesley Crusher, Q’s experiment in the Origin Sector was contained before it could consume the wider galaxy. But the damage wasn’t limited to one location. Temporal anomalies escaped into known space, their true impact still unknown, while Q himself vanished after being sent away on a challenge of his own—having learned nothing from the lessons of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations.

As the major powers retreat into their own affairs and the Independents remain scattered, no one is left to restore what has been broken. The timeline has been fractured, and some wounds cannot simply be healed. The galaxy has changed… and what emerges from those fractures may be far more dangerous than anything Q ever intended.

Improvements and Updates

Infinite Incursions Improvements

Update 93 introduces several quality-of-life improvements to the Infinite Incursions and raiding experience, making it easier to identify active Incursions, understand your station’s status, and react during raids.

Improved Incursions UI

When Infinite Incursions are active, updated visual indicators will appear throughout the game:

  • The Events button receives a new Incursions icon and color treatment.
  • The Shield button is highlighted for unshielded players.
  • Systems affected by the Incursion are clearly marked on the Galaxy Map, making it easier to identify where the event is taking place.

New Raided State

When your station is successfully raided, you will enter a new Raided state for 20 minutes following the most recent qualifying raid.

While Raided:

  • Popups are suppressed, allowing you to react more quickly.
  • The Shield button receives enhanced colors and visual effects to encourage shielding.
  • Additional qualifying raids refresh the Raided timer.
  • The Raided state persists through game restarts.
  • The state is removed automatically once the timer expires.

These improvements reduce interruptions during combat while making it easier to remain aware of your station’s status throughout Infinite Incursions.

Battle Passes and Event Updates

This month’s Battle Pass features a new Officer based on your Operations level:

  • Ops 20–50: Borg Hugh
  • Ops 51–60: Gwen DeMarco
  • Ops 61–80: SNW Black Ops M’Benga

The Elite Track will now provide a full Epic unlock of the featured Officer, replacing the partial unlock that previously required the Mythic Track.

Each Officer has been selected to better align with progression at their respective Operations ranges, giving Commanders access to rewards that are more relevant to their stage of the game.

IDIQ Battle Pass — Ops 61+

Battle Pass Structure Update

The Battle Pass will return to a two-track structure consisting of Free and Elite tracks.

Its duration has been adjusted to 20 days, with updated milestones allowing Commanders to complete the Battle Pass by Day 17.

Battle Pass Choice Tokens for materials and resources are also returning to both the Free and Elite tracks, giving Commanders more flexibility when selecting rewards.

Expanded Battle Pass Rewards for G6 and G7

Battle Pass rewards are being expanded for G6 and G7 Commanders.

Arc Officers are returning to the Elite Battle Pass track, expanding their availability beyond the Mega Bundle. For this release, Cat Spock shards will be included for G6 and G7 Commanders as part of this expanded sourcing.

Commanders who purchase the Elite Battle Pass will also receive the currency required to unlock the new Sigma Vault Prime Research, providing an additional path toward strengthening Sigma resource protection by unlocking the first two levels of each node.

Elite Track Improvements

Several updates are being made to improve the overall value of the Elite Track:

  • The Elite Track will provide a full Epic unlock of the featured Officer.
  • Rare FKR Ship Parts have been added to the Elite Track after previously being available only through the Mythic Track.
  • Specialty Ship Part quantities have been increased across several tiers, including for G5 and G6 Commanders.

Rebalanced G3 and G4 Battle Pass Rewards

Battle Pass rewards are being updated for G3 and G4 Commanders to better support early- and mid-game progression.

Rather than focusing as heavily on general materials and resources, more value is being shifted toward specialty building materials used to upgrade key buildings and engage with important gameplay systems.

Available building materials will vary by Operations level:

  • Ops 20–25: Court of Q, Command Center, and Independent Archives
  • Ops 26–34: Court of Q, Command Center, and Artifact Gallery
  • Ops 35–39: Court of Q, The Facade, and Artifact Gallery
  • Ops 40–50: District 56, The War Room, and Artifact Gallery

The number of specialty Ship Parts available through the Elite Track is also being increased for Ops 20–34 Commanders, helping accelerate progression through several early ship loops.

Increased Ship Parts will be available for:

  • Botany Bay
  • U.S.S. Discovery
  • U.S.S. Franklin
  • Vi’dar

Commanders will continue to receive specialty Ship Parts based on their Operations level:

  • Ops 20–22: Botany Bay and U.S.S. Franklin Parts
  • Ops 23–25: U.S.S. Franklin and U.S.S. Discovery Parts
  • Ops 26–34: Vi’dar and U.S.S. Franklin Parts
  • Ops 35–39: Vi’dar Talios and U.S.S. Franklin-A Parts
  • Ops 40–50: Enterprise NX-01 and U.S.S. Reliant Parts
  • Ops 51–60: U.S.S. Dauntless and GS-31 Parts

Daily Login Calendar Update

The Daily Login Calendar is moving to the Events tab, helping keep the home screen clear while making daily rewards easy to find.

Scoring and milestone rewards will remain unchanged. Log in each day throughout the event to earn points and unlock all available rewards.

The Daily Login – SMS event can be found in the Events tab.

Alliance Tournaments

We have been reviewing player feedback on Alliance Tournaments and have made the following adjustments for the next run. We’ll continue to review feedback and make further adjustments where needed as we work to deliver the best possible Alliance Tournament experience.

Updates to the 10,000-point Task group

All 10,000-point Tasks that cannot be completed through free-to-play means, even with significant resource hoarding, will move to the 20,000-point Premium category.

These Tasks will continue to award 4,400 Alliance Tournament Credits and will continue to award no Legendary Alliance Tournament Credits or re-rolls.

The following 10,000-point Tasks will not move:

  • Acquire 6,000 Uncommon Ex-Borg Credits
  • Acquire 55,000 Forbidden Tech Protomatter
  • Acquire 15,000 Temporal Disruptors

Legacy Engagement Tasks award 1,100 Alliance Tournament Credits. They are an additional option alongside the previously introduced Seasonal Standard Tasks.

The number of available 5,000-point Tasks is increasing from 4 to 8. The other Task groups will remain unchanged for now.

All duplicate Tasks in the Premium category have been removed. This is intended to ensure re-rolls provide more meaningful alternatives when players are looking to avoid an unwanted Task.

This makes it easier to track progress toward the daily limit of 2,500 Hostiles that provide loot rewards.

Faction Reputation Event Auto-Join

Commanders can now choose to automatically join any or all daily Federation, Klingon, and Romulan Reputation Events.

Once enabled, Commanders will automatically be enrolled in their selected Faction Events each day without needing to join manually.

When Auto-Join is disabled for a Faction, the change will take effect when that Faction’s next daily event begins.

Alliance Tournaments UI

Alliance Tasks are now color-coded by rarity, including seasonal variants.

Commanders can more quickly identify Tasks on the shared board and coordinate their efforts during Alliance Tournaments.

New Features and Content

Prime Vault Enhancements

Update 93 introduces three new Prime Vault research nodes in the Station Research Tree, allowing Ops 61+ Commanders to increase protection for Sigma Parsteel, Sigma Tritanium, and Sigma Dilithium. The values provided by these buffs are added to the base vault values, and after that, the %-based buffs are applied.

Each Prime Vault research features five upgrade levels and is unlocked using the new Prime Vault Particle, available through premium Battle Pass variants and direct purchase.

The balancing for these upgrade levels has been done to support different Ops ranges. Level 1 is targeting protection for Ops 61-63, level 2 for Ops 64-67, level 3 for Ops 68-70, level 4 for Ops 71-72, and level 5 for Ops 73+.

For comparison, the base Sigma Parsteel Vault Protection at Operations 61 is 1,100. With level 1 of the Prime Sigma Parsteel Vault Protection node sitting at 40,000, this means that the player would have a total of 41,100 protection, with any Vault Protection-related buffs then applying on top of it. This leads to a 40x increase in what is protected within the Vault.

Prime Sigma Parsteel Vault Protection

  • Level 1: +40,000 Σ-Parsteel protected
  • Level 2: +60,000 Σ-Parsteel protected
  • Level 3: +120,000 Σ-Parsteel protected
  • Level 4: +400,000 Σ-Parsteel protected
  • Level 5: +600,000 Σ-Parsteel protected

Prime Sigma Tritanium Vault Protection

  • Level 1: +9,300 Σ-Tritanium protected
  • Level 2: +14,000 Σ-Tritanium protected
  • Level 3: +28,000 Σ-Tritanium protected
  • Level 4: +93,500 Σ-Tritanium protected
  • Level 5: +140,000 Σ-Tritanium protected

Prime Sigma Dilithium Vault Protection

  • Level 1: +4,000 Σ-Dilithium protected
  • Level 2: +6,000 Σ-Dilithium protected
  • Level 3: +12,000 Σ-Dilithium protected
  • Level 4: +40,000 Σ-Dilithium protected
  • Level 5: +60,500 Σ-Dilithium protected

These new Prime researches provide an additional layer of security for your Sigma resources, helping protect more of your hard-earned materials from enemy raids.

Missions

Core Missions (Ops 61+)

Following the events of the Origin Sector, Q’s experiments have left behind temporal anomalies that continue to destabilize the galaxy.

Throughout Update 93, Commanders will investigate these anomalies across iconic Star Trek locations, including Borg space, Deep Space 9, and the Mirror Universe, while discovering that some wounds in time cannot simply be erased.

Four new mission chains will be released throughout the month, with one arriving each week.

Once released, each mission chain will remain available in the Holodeck, advancing the story as the galaxy adapts to a future permanently shaped by Q’s actions.

Bug Fixes

Officers

  • Fixed an issue where The Hierarch’s ability was processed too late at the start of combat, causing officers such as Nog and Ezri to activate one round later than intended.

  • Fixed an issue for some missions where dialogue text was cut off in Japanese.
  • Fixed an issue where TMP Hikaru Sulu’s ability description was cut off on the Promote screen.
