Quality of Life Updates

Reaching Franklin Tier 9 and Archives level 25 is the condition to be able to MASTER its related Archive

  • Mastery consolidates all of the Franklin’s bundles in the Resources Refinery
  • As players progress through the Archive Pillars, they are going to gain access to the following buffs:
    • Franklin Ship Parts Cost Efficiency
    • Franklin Damage vs Swarm
    • Increased HHP for all Ships
    • Golden Franklin Avatar (awarded for Mastery)

Reaching Franklin-A Tier 12 and Archives level 50 is the condition to be able to MASTER its related Archive

  • Mastery consolidates all of the Franklin-A’s bundles in the Resources Refinery
  • As players progress through the Archive Pillars, they are going to gain access to the following buffs:
    • Franklin Ship Parts Cost Efficiency
    • Franklin Damage vs Swarm
    • Increased SHP for all Ships
    • Golden Franklin-A Avatar (awarded for Mastery)
  • Players who have scrapped their Franklins prior to Tier 9 will need to rebuild them to acquire Mastery. For players who already own the Franklin-A, a new Bundle is available in the Refinery, providing free access to the Franklin’s Warp Drives (previously only available via Missions or Events)
  • If you scrapped a Franklin between Tiers 1 and 8, you should be able to claim the Archive Pillars up to and including the Tier corresponding to the Tier at which you scrapped your Franklin
  • If you scrapped a Franklin at Tier 9, you should be able to claim all the Archive Pillars of the Archive and Master it
  • In Wrath of Khan – Part 1, one of the most prevalent feedbacks was that the Common Hijacked Splicers were not available to (primarily G6) players who were hitting Hostiles at levels 62 and higher
  • In Part 2, all WOK Augment Exile Hostiles now drop more loot of rarities other than their own, and Epics have had it added (previously had none)
  • In order for players to better differentiate between normal Augment Exile hostiles and the Hijacked D7 Class, we have added a Skull icon next to its name
  • The icon currently appears when zoomed in, but this functionality will later be expanded to work in expanded view
  • From player feedback, we have increased the Hangar Slots by an additional 11 (as opposed to 1)
  • Players of all levels will see this change
  • We’re introducing a gradual introduction of UI elements, a quality of life improvement aimed at new players between levels 2-19
  • This improvement will gradually introduce different UI elements (and related features), bringing attention to them only when they are relevant to the players’ Operations level
  • Existing players between levels 2-20, are going to experience the following changes:
    • Some tabs will now either become hidden or appear as locked, and will proceed to unlock gradually as players progress towards Operations 20
  • At Operations 21 and higher, all the icons will be displayed as per usual

Auto-Assign Away Teams Button
We have found that some players may find this button greyed out on or have an issue where the button is clickable even though there is no officer that could be auto-assigned to the Away Team slot. Our team has identified the cause and a hotfix will be coming soon after the initial Wrath of Khan Pt 2 launch. Keep an eye on official channels for additional details.

Apex Shredding Change
Last month, we launched Apex Shredding research. Due to an error this node provided inconsistent results, with some players receiving more and some receiving less than intended. The impact of this change is minimal, but in order to keep in line with other buff items in the game this node has been adjusted for the Wrath of Khan Pt 2 release. Thank you to the commanders who helped bring this to our attention via feedback channels.

Missions

Khan Noonien-Singh

When Khan Noonien Singh and his fellow Augment Exiles discovered a derelict Independent station, they were granted a gift of limitless potential – the chance to defy fate itself. By harnessing the latent Progenitor powers hidden deep within the slumbering station, Khan claimed a splinter timeline as his own, and established a regime that would rival the empire he had built back on Earth in the 20th century. Following Maia and the Enterprise crew’s operation to dismantle his empire, Khan has abandoned his aspirations of conquest, and has now chosen to commit himself to a cause more worthy of his devotion – revenge.

Now, the Genesis Device – and the terrible power that comes with it – has been stolen by the Augment Exiles and handed to Khan himself. As the forces of the Federation comb the galaxy in their attempts to find this potential weapon of mass destruction, Khan bides his time, plotting his ultimate retaliation against those who would conspire against him. With the Genesis Device in his possession, and retribution at the forefront of his mind, Khan will stop at nothing until his sworn enemies have paid the ultimate price for crossing him.

Core Missions (10): Vengeance of Khan | Level 38+
With the Genesis Device now in Khan’s hands, the galaxy faces unprecedented peril. Embark on 10 core missions as you race to stop Khan from unleashing catastrophic devastation.

Side Missions (5): Altered Parameters | Level 40+
When a distress signal presents Lt. Saavik an opportunity to redeem herself from the Kobayashi Maru scenario, players will navigate a high-stakes mission to rewrite fate itself.
