Rachel Garrett’s primary role centers on her below deck ability, which is tailored to enhance Apex Barrier against Battleship-type hostiles. When paired with Georgiou’s ability, her impact on battleships with Apex Barriers is truly game-changing. For those of you looking to maximize your loot, consider placing Garrett on the bridge. She boosts the loot you receive from hostiles—a winning combination indeed. Try pairing her with a bridge crew such as Enterprise-E Picard and 5 of 11 for an extremely high loot boost modifier.
Zeph
Zeph brings his own unique twist to the battlefield. His below deck ability is focused on providing extra Apex Barrier against Interceptor hostiles, stacking neatly with Georgiou’s bonus to further reduce enemy barriers. Meanwhile, on the bridge, Zeph offers additional utility with a chance each round to apply a random combat state to enemy hostiles for three rounds—potentially layering several debilitating effects with just one crew slot.
