Prepare to embark on an extraordinary journey with the SS Revenant, the first-ever El-Aurian starship in Star Trek Fleet Command. This evolving Epic Interceptor is not just a sight to behold but a powerhouse designed to dominate Continuum Space. This guide will provide you with everything you need to know to harness its full potential and navigate the complexities of its evolution and the new hostiles you’ll face.
What is the SS Revenant?
The SS Revenant stands out as an evolving ship specialized in combating Q-Continuum hostiles, including both armada and non-armada types. Spanning an impressive 15 tiers, this ship is more than just a combat vessel—it’s a comprehensive resource hub.
- Great Source of Guaranteed Materials: Upon successfully evolving the SS Revenant, G4 and G5 receive guaranteed Common, Uncommon, and Rare Materials, and G6 will receive guaranteed Common and Uncommon.
- Resource Acquisition: Collect Parsteel, Tritanium, Dilithium, and their Sigma counterparts with unmatched efficiency.
- Chaos Tech Acquisition: The SS Revenant is the most efficient source of obtaining Chaos Tech Materials, essential for upgrading your fleet’s capabilities.
Building the SS Revenant
To add the SS Revenant to your fleet, you’ll need to reach Shipyard Level 42 and once unlocked, this powerful vessel will guide you through 15 tiers of progression. Each tier enhances the SS Revenant’s capabilities, ensuring it remains a dominant force in the galaxy.
Passive Abilities That Make a Difference
The SS Revenant is equipped with three exceptional passive abilities that set it apart from other ships:
- Laid to Rest: This ability dramatically increases the SS Revenant’s base damage by an astonishing 80,000,000% when facing Q-Continuum Hostiles, whether they are Armada or Non-Armada threats. This makes the SS Revenant an unstoppable force in battle.
- Phantom’s Tithe: Enhances the acquisition of Chaos Module resources starting at 500% when using the SS Revenant against formidable foes. This ensures you have ample resources to upgrade and maintain your fleet’s edge.
- Collective’s Bane: Disables the Cutting Beam weapon on the Borg Type 03 and Borg Polygon Armadas from firing at the player
Specialization in Continuum Space
The SS Revenant is tailor-made for the diverse and challenging hostiles found within Continuum Space. Whether you’re strategizing to take down high-level armadas or securing valuable resources, the SS Revenant is your go-to ship for achieving dominance and ensuring success in the ever-expanding frontiers of Continuum Space.
Engaging with the SS Revenant
Understanding the engagement flow of the SS Revenant is crucial for maximizing your rewards and progression.
First and foremost, begin in Nova Kron! It does not matter how powerful you are, you will almost certainly be unable to defeat a Borg Type 03 Solo Armada of any level higher than 42 with a brand new SS Revenant until it’s been ranked up. In order to defeat higher level Borg Type 03 Solo Armadas, you will not only need to build up your SS Revenant but you will also need to “evolve” it, by scrapping at the requisite tier/level and unlocking the next “evolution” refit.
Here’s how to navigate these loops effectively:
Borg Solo Armadas – Type 03
How to Engage:
- Collect Borg Type 03 Directives: Obtain these from the Continuum Refinery.
- Destroy Borg Type 03 Solo Armadas: These are single-slot armadas, meaning you can only bring one ship—ideally the SS Revenant.
- Acquire Borg Type 03 Solo Armada Credits: Earn credits upon successful destruction of the armadas.
- Exchange Credits for Borg Type 03 Loot: Loot includes SS Revenant Ship Parts, Nexus Particles, Fabricator Chips, and large amounts of resources.
Rewards Include:
- SS Revenant Ship Parts: Used for upgrading the ship’s components and progressing through tiers.
- Nexus Particles: Unlock new research nodes in the Starships Research Tree.
- Fabricator Chips: Exchange for guaranteed Uncommon and Rare Refined Materials, with a chance for Epic Refined Materials.
- Resources: Parsteel, Tritanium, Dilithium, Speed-Ups, and Common Materials.
Important Note: Borg Type 03 Solo Armadas come in different evolution forms that gain new passive abilities: 03.0, 03.1, and 03.2. You’ll need an evolved SS Revenant to take down the evolved armadas.
Group Armadas – Borg Polygon
How to Engage:
- Collect Borg Polygon Directives: Available in the Continuum Refinery.
- Destroy Borg Polygon Group Armadas: Team up with other commanders to take down these formidable foes.
- Acquire Borg Polygon Group Armada Credits: Earn credits upon successful destruction.
- Exchange Credits for Borg Polygon Loot: Similar rewards to solo armadas but with additional quantities.
Rewards Include:
- Additional SS Revenant Ship Parts
- More Nexus Particles and Fabricator Chips
- Large Quantities of Resources
Important Note: Just like the Borg Type 3 Solo Armadas, Borg Polygon Group Armadas also evolve and gain new passive abilities: Polygon 1.0, Polygon 1.1, and Polygon 1.2. You’ll need an evolved SS Revenant to take down the evolved armadas.
Non-Armada Hostiles
While non-armada hostiles remain unchanged, the SS Revenant significantly boosts:
- Damage Output: Drastically increases damage against Assimilated Coryn-class, Frohmun-class, and Prohibitor-class hostiles.
- Chaos Module Acquisition: Increases the quantity of Chaos Modules received starting at 500% up to 20,000%%!
Where to Use Chaos Modules:
- Chaos Tech Shard Exchange: Acquire shards for the Thought Maker, Electromagnetic Lute, Temporal Conduit, and Q Cannon.
- Chaos Material Exchange: Exchange for Chaosmatter, Chaos Tech Tier-Up Catalyst, Chaos Tech Reactor, and Chaos Tech Fusion Rods.

Assembling Your Crews
Since armadas are the primary hostiles for the SS Revenant, using the correct crew setup is vital to maximize your combat effectiveness. We recommend taking the following into account when forming your crew:
Armada-Focused Officers: Equip officers that provide bonuses against armadas, such as:
- Chakotay, Janeway, and O’Brien/Dajash Tolra
- Sisko, O’Brien, Bashir
Avoid Regular Hostile Crews: Regular hostile crews may not offer the necessary buffs for armada engagements.
Check Official Channels: Detailed crew setups will be shared in our upcoming blog post and official forums. Stay tuned to optimize your fleet’s performance.
There are also the following officers with powerful Below Deck Abilities that may come in very handy when battling these enemies:
- Tom Paris – Mitigation boost
- B’elanna Torres – Hull Breach (Very important, considering the SS Revenant is also an Interceptor!)
- Harry Kim – Morale
- Neelix – Burning
- PIC Hugh – Hull repair
- Masriad Vael – Critical hit rate
Avoiding Potential Pitfalls
To ensure a smooth progression with your SS Revenant, be mindful of the following common issues:
Scrapping at Incorrect Levels
Scrapping at the wrong tier or level may prevent the ship from evolving and lead to missed rewards. Only scrap at the specified tiers and ship levels:
- Tier 5, Levels 21-25
- Tier 10, Levels 46-50
- Tier 14, Levels 71-75
Not Leveling Up After Tiering Up
Failing to level up the ship after tiering up may prevent you from seeing appropriate scrap rewards. Always level up your ship after each tier upgrade to unlock the next set of benefits.
Forgetting to Claim Evolution Bundles and Refits
Not claiming the evolution bundle or refit means missing out on evolution benefits. After scrapping and receiving the gift key, promptly claim the evolution bundle in the Continuum Refinery.
Different Armada Types
The game features various armada types with different mechanics, which can be confusing. Always check the armada’s details before engaging to understand its specific mechanics, like the below:
- Regular Solo Armadas: Up to three ships, standard mechanics.
- Solo Boss Armadas: Single-slot, 10-round limit, armada buffs do not work.
- Borg Type 03 Solo Armadas: Single-slot, no round limit, armada buffs do work.
Strategic Planning
- Plan Your Upgrades: Map out your ship’s progression and resource management to ensure optimal evolution timing.
- Utilize the Continuum Refinery: Regularly exchange directives, loot, and evolution bundles in the Continuum Refinery to maximize your rewards.
By understanding the intricacies of the SS Revenant and its pivotal role in combating new hostiles in Continuum Space, you’ll be well-equipped to lead your fleet to unparalleled victories. Embrace the evolution, optimize your crew, and dominate the galaxy with the SS Revenant!
See you on the bridge, Commander!
Live Long and Prosper,
