As always, Chaos Tech is designed to enhance specific aspects of gameplay, requiring you to use it strategically to maximize its benefits. Fortunately, we’re here to guide you through these enhancements. Without further ado, let’s dive into the new Chaos Tech available to Commanders in Q Continuum: Part 2!
Soran’s Trilithium (Epic)
Abilities:
- Increase Apex Barrier by 6000 against players
- Reduce opponent’s weapon shots by 25% against player ships with Morale active
- Increase Shield Health by 800% against players
With Soran’s Trilithium installed on your ship, you’ll benefit from a significantly strengthened Apex Barrier, providing robust protection against other players. Additionally, this tech offers a substantial bonus to your shield health, ensuring your defenses are formidable. If an opponent employs Morale against you, Soran’s Trilithium disrupts their weapon systems, reducing the number of shots they can fire by 25%. These defensive enhancements make Soran’s Trilithium an excellent choice for commanders seeking versatile protection in various combat scenarios.
Enaran Execution Post (Epic)
Abilities:
- 85% chance to inflict Burning on the target for 2 rounds at the start of each round against Hostiles or Armadas
- Increase Apex Isomatter gained from defeating Gorn hostiles by 100,000%
- Increase Isolytic Damage for the Gorn Eviscerator against Gorn hostiles by 10,000%
The Enaran Execution Post is primarily designed to enhance battles against the Gorn. Its first ability allows you to inflict Burning on any hostile or armada you engage, adding an extra layer of damage over time. The second ability significantly boosts the Apex Isomatter you gain from defeating Gorn hostiles, making it invaluable for resource collection. The third ability specifically enhances the Gorn Eviscerator, increasing its Isolytic Damage by 10,000% when facing Gorn hostiles. This makes the Enaran Execution Post essential for commanders who rely on the Gorn Eviscerator but have yet to fully upgrade it. Once upgraded, you can effortlessly conquer Gorn space with increased efficiency and rewards.
Unimatrix Shielding (Rare)
Abilities:
- Reduce enemy player’s Isolytic Cascade by 30% for 2 rounds at the start of each round against players if your ship has any Combat State active
- Increase Isolytic Defense by 200% against players
- Increase weapon damage by 900% against players if your ship has any Combat State active
If Isolytic damage has been a persistent issue in your battles, Unimatrix Shielding offers a robust solution. This tech provides an unconditional 200% boost to your Isolytic Defense, significantly mitigating incoming Isolytic Damage. Additionally, if your ship has any Combat State active—such as Morale or effects like Burning, Hull Breach, or Assimilation—it reduces your opponent’s Isolytic Cascade by 30% for two rounds, diminishing their damage output. Furthermore, it grants a massive 900% boost to your weapon damage when in a Combat State, allowing you to turn the tide of battle by overpowering opponents who rely heavily on Isolytic weaponry.
Multiphasic Chamber (Uncommon)
Abilities:
- Increase Warp Range by 30
- Increase Warp Speed by 500%
