Update 92 Feature Highlight: Territory Refresh

By Obsidian Hamster 23 June 2026

The new Territory Season begins and resets on June 25th, ushering in a new era of competition and rewards across the Origin Sector.

Update 92 introduces the largest refresh to the feature since its original launch, expanding progression, introducing new Territory Capture gameplay loops, overhauling Services, and adding new ways to earn rewards through mining, combat, and armadas.

Whether you prefer gathering resources, hunting powerful enemies, or coordinating alliance operations, the Territory Capture Refresh offers more ways than ever to contribute and progress.

Territory Capture progression is being expanded to give players more flexibility in how they participate and earn rewards.

Existing Territory Capture systems will now feature either new 1★, 2★, and 3★ Isogenite Mines or new 1★, 2★, and 3★ Quantum Hostiles. Both activities award the same new raw Isogenite, allowing players to progress through mining, combat, or a combination of both.

Key Features:

  • Choose your preferred progression path through mining, combat, or both.
  • Earn the same raw Isogenite resources from either Isogenite Mines or Quantum Hostiles.
  • Discover higher-tier mines and hostiles throughout T1, T2, and T3 zones, as well as in the new T4 Territory Capture zone.
  • Create new strategic opportunities for alliances competing across Territory Capture space.

New Isogenite Mines provide a refreshed mining path for Territory Capture progression.

All new Isogenite Mines have a 20% chance to spawn as an Isogenite Geode. These Rare Geodes are exclusive bonus rewards available only through mining and can be exchanged in the refinery for additional rewards.

For players who prefer combat, new Quantum Hostiles offer an alternate path to progression.

Quantum Hostiles have a chance to drop PvE chests containing exclusive Quantum Scraps. These Quantum Scraps are available only through combat and can be exchanged in the refinery for additional bonus rewards.

Quantum Hostiles also have a chance to spawn as special Quantum Guardian Surveys, which offer significantly increased rewards and a guaranteed PvE chest.

The Quantum Adjudicator is an automated vessel summoned into being by Q. Designed to collect Isogenite and other valuable resources from the many dimensions Q has accessed — and perhaps even created — within the Origin Sector, the Adjudicator travels through portals into other realities in pursuit of rare materials.

As both a sign of prestige and irony, Q based its design on a Tarellian starship.

Quantum Adjudicator Abilities

Judicious Preparation
At the start of combat, the Quantum Adjudicator gains increased:

  • Isolytic Damage
  • Isolytic Defense
  • Apex Barrier
  • Apex Shred

Almost Omnipotent — 1★ and 2★ Variants
The Quantum Adjudicator has a Critical Damage Floor of 300%. It can only be engaged by FKR Faction Ships and the U.S.S. Vengeance. All other ships are instantly destroyed at the start of combat.

Strike Down — 3★ Variants
At the start of combat, the Quantum Adjudicator reduces Shield Mitigation to 0% and has a Critical Damage Floor of 300%.

The Quantum Guardian Survey is a larger and more powerful automated vessel summoned by Q. It shares the same core abilities as the Quantum Adjudicator but carries significantly greater cargo capacity, transporting Isogenite and other valuable resources collected from across the Origin Sector’s many dimensional pathways.

These rare spawns provide a high-value combat opportunity for players hunting Quantum Hostiles.

Territory Quantum Tesseract Armadas are automated installations summoned into existence by Q. These structures are capable of interfacing with the ancient Progenitor Subspace Network within the Origin Sector, opening portals to other realities.

Quantum Tesseract Armadas are a key new source of Territory Capture scoring and progression. They contribute toward takeover scoring objectives while awarding exclusive refinery loot that can be redeemed through the Territory Capture Refinery.

Alongside the new mining and hostile gameplay loops, Quantum Tesseract Armadas create additional paths for progression, support different playstyles, and introduce valuable new objectives throughout Territory Capture space.

Quantum Tesseract Armada Abilities:

Isolytic Burst Warheads
Increases Isolytic Damage at the start of combat.

Cascade Nullification
This Armada’s Critical Damage cannot drop below 300%.

Territory Capture Services are also receiving a major overhaul, improving the value of available services while introducing a more dynamic and rewarding system.

Several outdated services that no longer provide meaningful value in the current game environment have been removed. This includes older Isogen refines and legacy combat buffs such as Armor and Dodge bonuses.

Remaining legacy services have been rebalanced and enhanced to provide more impactful rewards and benefits. New and improved services have also been added, targeting more recent stats, ships, and progression items.

A new service generation system has been introduced to randomly roll rewards and buffs from curated pools each season. This eliminates the need for manual service configuration and allows every new season to offer unique reward possibilities.

New service buffs added to the reward pools include:

  • Apex Shred bonuses for PvE-focused gameplay
  • Apex Barrier bonuses for PvP engagements

Additional Blueprint Bundle Claims have also been added to the service reward pools, creating new opportunities to acquire valuable ship progression items. These include:

  • G6 Epic Blueprint Claims
  • G7 Uncommon Blueprint Claims
  • Additional Blueprint Claims for side-loop ships

Possible ship blueprint rewards now include the U.S.S. Vengeance, U.S.S. Excelsior, GS-31, Borg Cube, U.S.S. Reliant, SS Revenant, NSEA Protector, U.S.S. Voyager, Meridian, Enterprise NX-01, Gorn Eviscerator, Monaveen, I.S.S. Jellyfish, and Sarcophagus.

Ship-specific parts for these ships have also been added as additional services that can appear in the reward pool.

Together, these updates make Territory Capture Services more relevant, diverse, and exciting while significantly reducing management overhead.

The Territory Capture Refresh represents a significant evolution of the feature, expanding progression beyond traditional mining while creating meaningful opportunities for combat-focused captains and alliance strategists alike.

With a new Territory zone, powerful Quantum enemies, dynamic seasonal Services, and a streamlined user experience, Territory Capture now offers more ways than ever to compete, collaborate, and earn valuable rewards. We look forward to seeing how alliances adapt to these new opportunities when the refresh arrives in Update 92.
