Arriving on Tuesday July 28 at Event reset, The Ra’Ul Reaver is a new Epic Sigma raiding ship built specifically for G6 and G7 Commanders. It opens up new ways to acquire Σ-Resources through station raiding and resource conversion, with its exclusive refinery increasing in value as the ship is upgraded.

The Ra’Ul Reaver is built to raid Sigma resources directly from other commanders stations, ignoring regular Parsteel, Tritanium and Dilithium to gather what you truly value. It also provides an efficient method to convert your standard resources into Sigma Resources, creating a powerful new progression path for G6 and G7 Commanders.

Used by the Klingons in the mid-23rd century, the Ra’Ul Reaver specializes in delivering warriors into battle and extracting valuable spoils using its advanced Matter Array. Though forever tied to the disgraced House Ra’Ul and Bytha’s failed quest to restore her family’s honor, the ship now offers Commanders the opportunity to forge its own legacy through raiding Σ-Resources, and victory.

Ra’Ul Reaver Updates

Last week, after reviewing community feedback, we made the decision to delay the Ra’Ul Reaver’s release to adjust its balance and make meaningful improvements, ensuring it delivers a stronger and more rewarding raiding experience from day one.

Improvements:

• Rebalanced the Ra’Ul Reaver’s passive ability, Matter Array, to improve its raiding performance across all ship tiers while keeping its cargo capacity unchanged.
• Reduced the Ra’Ul Reaver’s repair costs, making it significantly more accessible for regular raiding.
• Adjusted the cost of the Ra’Ul Reaver’s Sigma Resource Conversion Refinery bundles to always be the same, as opposed to scaling with each Ship Tier.

Sigma Raiding

The Ra’Ul Reaver is the first ship capable of directly plundering Σ-Parsteel, Σ-Tritanium, and Σ-Dilithium from player stations. Its unique Matter Array cargo hold is optimized for carrying Σ-Resources, making it the spiritual successor to the Amalgam for G6+ station raiding.

Sigma Resource Conversion

A new exclusive Σ-Resources Refinery allows Commanders to convert Parsteel, Tritanium, and Dilithium into their Sigma Token variants. Σ-Resources are awarded as tokens, keeping them safe from future raids. The refinery improves as the Ra’Ul Reaver is upgraded and also provides the ship parts needed for progression.

Ship Abilities

• Sigma Feast
  
  • The Ra’Ul Reaver prioritizes plundering Σ-Resources whenever they are available. After a successful raid, the ship fills its unique Matter Array cargo hold with Σ-Parsteel, Σ-Tritanium, and Σ-Dilithium in a 10:2:1 ratio. If additional cargo space remains, it is filled with any other available resources from the target station.
    
• Matter Array
  
  • Matter Array stores Σ-Resources, but its capacity is unaffected by Cargo Bay buffs. After winning a battle, if the target has more resources than the Reaver’s available Cargo Space, the Reaver fills its Cargo Space and then takes an additional share of the remaining resources. This ability only activates if the Ra’ul Reaver has available empty Cargo Space before attacking.
  • The following updated scaling applies for the Matter Array Passive Ability:

    • Tier 2 : 0.016%
    • Tier 3 : 0.023%
    • Tier 4 : 0.029%

Launch Month Rewards

During the ship’s launch month, upgrading the Ra’Ul Reaver unlocks exclusive milestone gifts every two ship tiers, including:

• Peace Shields
• Sigma Resource Tokens
• Officer Shards
  • SCT Nog shards
  • VIL Gul Dukat Shards
  • VIL Winn Adami Shards
• Additional progression rewards

These gifts, located in the Sigma Refinery, are available for a limited time and increase in value at higher ship tiers.

The timer for these bundles will be reset with the delayed launch of the ship, giving players the chance to acquire these rewards within the intended 28 days.

Ra’Ul Reaver Refinery

The Sigma Resources Refinery has been expanded alongside the arrival of the Ra’Ul Reaver, introducing new exclusive refinery bundles that convert standard resources into their Sigma variants.

The following refinery bundles are now available:

• Reaver Parsteel → Σ-Parsteel
• Reaver Tritanium → Σ-Tritanium
• Reaver Dilithium → Σ-Dilithium

Each refinery bundle converts its respective base resource into Sigma resource tokens, scales in value as the Ra’Ul Reaver is upgraded, and has a 22-hour cooldown.
