Following feedback collected during a playtest with a select group from our player advisory council members, moderators and content creators, we have a series of improvements and adjustments rolling out today, all designed to make your Year of Hell experience even more rewarding. Below, you’ll find details on the buffs to the USS Relativity, a special preview of Epic Officer Seska, enhancements to the DTI Faction Store, and more.
Relativity Encrypted Intelligence Buff
What’s Changing?
We’re significantly boosting the Encrypted Intelligence passive for the USS Relativity to help more Commanders progress their Federation, Klingon, and Romulan (FKR) reputation faster.
Improved Passive Buff: Increases base Encrypted Intelligence by X% when fighting Krenim Invading Entities or Armadas
- Tier 1 (Level 1): +350%
- Tier 8 (Level 40): +454%
- Tier 15 (Level 75): +720%
Note: When engaging the Krenim Invading Entities with the USS Relativity, players will not need to use the static/charged exocomps–the Relativity takes care of it for you!
Epic Officer Seska Taster Exocomp
What’s Changing?
To showcase Officer Seska—an epic officer within the DTI faction typically locked behind Tier 5 of the USS Relativity—we’re introducing a “taster” Exocomp that fully unlocks her combat buffs for a limited time. Much like last month with the DTI Headquarters exocomp, this exocomp will activate upon claiming, and will demonstrate Seska’s abilities.
Seska’s Abilities
- Increases Critical Hit Damage by 40% for 4 rounds each time you score a hit vs. hostiles.
- Restores 30% of Shield Health each round when fighting hostiles.
Improved Reward Visibility in the DTI Faction Store

We’ve made adjustments so that Commanders can now see additional USS Relativity–locked rewards upfront.
USS Relativity Combat Boost vs. Krenim Formation Armadas
What’s Changing?
We’ve introduced four new research nodes that significantly enhance the Relativity’s combat effectiveness:
- Relativity Krenim Formation Shield Mitigation: Increases Shield Mitigation for the USS Relativity when fighting against Krenim Formation Armadas by 10%
- Relativity Krenim Formation SHP: Increases the SHP for the USS Relativity against Krenim Formation Armadas by 150%
- Relativity Krenim Formation SHP Repair: Adds 30% SHP Repair per turn for the USS Relativity against Krenim Formation Armadas
- Relativity Krenim Formation Isolytic Damage: Increases the Isolytic Damage for the USS Relativity against Krenim Formation Armadas by 100%
These nodes are designed to ensure the Relativity stands toe-to-toe with even the toughest Krenim Formation Armadas.

Alongside the combat buffs, we’re boosting the loot the USS Relativity earns from defeating the new Krenim Formation Armadas:
