Cam’s Log: What’s Changed, and What Comes Next

By STFC 7 October 2026

Commanders,

For those who don’t know me, I’m Cam Stewart, SVP of Product for Scopely’s Live Game Portfolio. Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to STFC players and sharing what I’ve heard with the team. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback!

Player feedback matters, but we needed a more focused way to make sure it reached the right people. Recently, we’ve focused on improving how feedback is gathered and escalated across the team.

A few ways we’ve done this:

  • We’ve improved how issues are escalated so urgent problems reach the right teams faster.
  • The community and game teams are working together more closely, helping more player feedback reach team discussions.
  • We’ve created processes that don’t depend on any one person to keep important work moving.

These changes are part of a more player-first approach to how we listen and share feedback across the team.

Going forward, we will continue listening in shared community spaces and helping your feedback reach the appropriate development teams. You’ll also hear from game team leads through blogs like this one. An upcoming blog will introduce our new General Manager and give him the opportunity to share his perspective directly.

I’ll still be reading, although I may not respond to DMs as often. Day to day, our team is set up to give your feedback the time and attention it deserves and make sure it reaches the right people. Please keep sharing it. The most helpful feedback tells us what isn’t working and why it matters to you.

We’ll continue the conversation through the same feedback channels you use today: our community team, player experience team, and customer support. We’ll keep improving how feedback reaches team discussions. The newly restructured, community-elected Player Council is an important part of that cycle, helping us learn, adjust, and work toward our shared mission to make STFC better.
