Commanders, brace yourselves for a thrilling series of missions and events aimed to help you acquire this month’s Rare Officers. Beginning on January 13, you’ll have a chance to choose your path, explore branching storylines, and secure valuable rewards—if you complete each “What If?” mission and event on time.
Week 2 – “What If?” Mission Series (January 13–20)
Starting Monday, January 13, the mission “Voyages Past Part 1” will appear as an in-game gift, available for only 24 hours. You must claim and complete it within that window; otherwise, you’ll miss out on the entire chain.
On Tuesday, January 14, the event “What If? Pt1 – SMS” becomes available, shaped by the choices you made on January 13. Completing this event grants another mission as a final reward, which must be finished by January 16 before event reset. Then, Thursday, January 16, a continuation of this storyline in “What If? Pt2 – SMS.” You’ll need to complete its accompanying mission by January 20 to stay on track.
Keep in mind that missing any mission deadlines breaks the chain, making you ineligible for the Week 3 events leading to Rare Officer unlocks. After finishing all Week 2 missions and events, you’ll receive either a Meditation Lamp or a Borg Implant, depending on your choices. You must claim this item before Week 3 starts to be placed into the META events.
Week 3 – Logical Conclusion & Punishment Protocol
Your decisions in Week 2 determine whether you enter Logical Conclusion or Punishment Protocol in Week 3. Each META spans six days and features five SMS events, one per day. Completing all five events successfully finishes your META path.
By Day 6, if you’ve missed any events, you can purchase tickets to replay and catch up on earlier missed events(all 5 will be available). Once you complete your META, you can redeem either your Meditation Lamp or Borg Implant in the event store for the Rare Officer corresponding to your chosen path. Note: You will not be able to claim until January 24th, 2025.
