Alliance Tournaments start tomorrow!
Previously mentioned in the 2024 Roadmap, a new activity is coming to Star Trek Fleet Command in which players must work together with their alliance teammates to score the most points and establish dominance in the galaxy! Alliances will have to score points by claiming and completing tasks from the Task Board. Strategy and teamwork is key here if you want your alliance to score the most points and rise on top!
The Qualifier Event
From August 14-August 17, alliances have the ability to participate in The Qualifier event. The Qualifier event places alliances on Regional Leaderboards to secure a place in a league prior to the official launch of the Tournaments.
In the regular leagues, the best and worst performing alliances in each League will be promoted and relegated to neighboring leagues for the next event.
Any alliance that has reached Alliance Level 2 or higher is able to participate, however new alliances are not able to join an event once started.
Here’s how it works:
Players will claim and complete Alliance Tasks from the Task Board in Alliance Tournaments, which is shared with the entire alliance. Players are limited to three tasks each day during the event and must complete the highest scoring tasks to maximize their daily score. This means that players will need to strategize and plan with their alliance in order to make the most out of completing tasks for the event. Once completed, tasks will be replaced on the board with those of similar point values. The task board resets daily, even if a task is in progress. Unclaimed tasks can be individually re-rolled by players, but re-rolls are limited.
League Rewards
Completing tasks earns players Alliance Tournament Credits, which can be exchanged in the Alliance Tournament Store for rewards. Further amounts are awarded for Alliances’ final League place in the event standings. It is advisable to spend these credits, as each event will use new credits.
