Greetings, Commanders! As we close out the year, we have several key updates to the schedule to share about current and future events in Star Trek Fleet Command. We’ve been closely monitoring feedback, and we want to ensure that our players understand the reasoning behind recent decisions and what lies ahead. From changes to Arena and Alliance Tournaments, to a special Galaxy Quest celebration, Infinite Incursions, and a glimpse into our 2025 Roadmap, here’s what you need to know.
Arena Update: Postponement for Quality Improvement
For the past three Mondays, Arena has suffered from stability issues, resulting in a less-than-ideal experience for many players. We recognize that Arena is a valued event, and it’s important to us that it runs smoothly. Unfortunately, we cannot properly address these technical challenges before the next scheduled run on Monday, December 23rd.
In order to provide the quality you deserve, we’re postponing Arena events until we can thoroughly evaluate the situation after the upcoming winter break. While we can’t provide an exact return date yet, we will announce the new schedule once we’ve identified the necessary improvements.
Eligible players will receive gifts containing currency related to the postponed Arena events. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve these issues and deliver a better Arena experience.
Alliance Tournaments Return January 1st
As we welcome 2025, we’re excited to bring back Alliance Tournaments to the schedule starting on January 1st. Get ready to get together with your alliance in this next round of challenges to climb the leaderboard and establish dominance in the galaxy. Remember: strategy and teamwork is key to climbing the ranks in the Alliance League.
It’s the perfect way to start the new year, encouraging players to unite and achieve greatness together.
Galaxy Quest 25th Anniversary Event (Dec 25–30)
From December 25th to December 30th, we’re hosting a special, one-time Galaxy Quest 25th Anniversary Event series. This celebration includes six days of unique challenges—Interceptor Hunts, Away Teams, Battleship Hunts, Realta PvP, Explorer Hunts, and Mining—that reward Galaxy Quest officer shards and valuable in-game items.
Each daily event progresses you through an overarching Meta Event, unlocking additional surprises and rewards as you go. Keep an eye out for special leaderboards, where you can compete for coveted Galaxy Quest Officer shards. This event schedule is all about having fun, embracing a beloved sci-fi franchise, and enjoying some extra engagement between arcs. Rally your crew, help the Thermians stand strong, and—of course—never give up, never surrender!
Coming Soon: 2025 Roadmap Video
This weekend, we’ll be releasing our 2025 Roadmap, and we encourage you to tune in for a special video presentation presented by Star Trek Fleet Command’s General Manager and Director of Roadmap. We’ll take a look back at 2024’s achievements and challenges, share what we’ve learned, and reveal improvements and exciting new plans for the coming year.
Most importantly, they’ll unveil the very first arc of 2025, setting the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable year in Star Trek Fleet Command. This is your chance to get a high-level preview of the future, so don’t miss it!
