“Secrets, sabotage, and surveillance—hidden threads in the tapestry of the galaxy. It’s time to pull on them.”
Shadows gather across known space. High-stakes espionage and covert alliances threaten to engulf the quadrant in intrigue. When mysterious malfunctions plague the Baraam nightclub, Philippa Georgiou calls on you to investigate the true cause behind these system failures. As you join forces to gather clues, you will soon discover that the undercurrent of black-market deals and subterfuge extends far deeper than anyone imagined—straight into the clandestine realm of Section 31. Commanders, it’s time to step into the darkness, where only the most cunning survive.
Independent Archives Addition – Amalgam
In Q Continuum Pt 1, Star Trek Fleet Command introduced the Independent Archives, a new building designed to consolidate and streamline daily gameplay. This building centralizes ship loops, reduces daily grind, and brings substantial buffs, offering players a simplified experience with fewer repetitive tasks. This month, the Amalgam makes its way to the archives.
In addition to the Amalgam Mastery consolidation claim, new buffs include:
- Amalgam Parts CE – Increases cost efficiency for Amalgam Parts on Amalgam ship components.
- Plundered Cargo – Increases the amount of Plundered Cargo dropped by hostiles when using the Amalgam.
- Combat Scavenger – Increases the effectiveness of the Amalgam’s Combat Scavenger ship ability.
- All Mitigation – Increases base Mitigation stats for all ships against non-Armada hostiles.
The team will continue to iterate on the Independent Archives and implement additional content to the building. Keep an eye on official channels for what’s coming next to this quality of life feature.
New Missions
Core (10):

After a series of suspicious malfunctions on the Baraam, Philippa Georgiou invites the Commander to help her protect the nightclub and investigate the actual reason behind the systems’ failures. As they work together and slowly gather the team, the clues lead the Commander and Georgiou to the Whip – a rival club suffering from lacking clients. However, there’s a third party involved in the clubs’ troubles, playing its own game of Black Market chess.
Side Missions: Solo Wave Defense (5)
Section 31 lost a piece of top-secret research and tasked Rachel with retrieving it. Following the thief’s tracks, she finds a desperate Yridian trying to sell this information to protect his life. To redeem the thief, Rachel and the Commander fight the forces eager to get their hands on confidential research and move the Yridian to the Baraam. However, his criminal past is stronger than his good intentions, and Rachel has to decide whether the thief deserves not a second but a third chance.
New Feature: Apex Shred
Last year, we introduced Apex Barrier—a groundbreaking survivability modifier that provides true damage mitigation after all bonuses have been applied. Every 10,000 points of Apex Barrier effectively doubles your ship’s health, meaning that a ship with 100 HP can, with 10,000 Apex Barrier, endure as if it had 200 HP. This mechanic has redefined both PvE and PvP combat by allowing players to withstand the onslaught of enemy fire with unprecedented resilience.

Now, with the introduction of Apex Shred, we offer you a countermeasure against these powerful defenses. Apex Shred is a cutting-edge tech modifier that reduces or even partially nullifies the damage mitigation of an enemy’s Apex Barrier when equipped. In simple terms, while your enemy’s barrier is measured in flat points, your Apex Shred is expressed as a percentage. For instance, just as 10,000 points of Apex Barrier can double a ship’s effective health, a full 100% Apex Shred will slice that protective value in half—regardless of whether the barrier is 1,000, 10,000, or even 50,000 points strong.

Available through Chaos Tech, Officers, and Research, reaching 200% Apex Shred will reduce the enemy barrier to one-third of its original value, 300% brings it down to one-quarter, and 400% shrinks it to one-fifth. With an astonishing 900% Apex Shred, you can weaken an opposing barrier to just one-tenth of its normal protection. Though you can never completely bypass an Apex Barrier—much like incoming Isolytic Damage can never be entirely negated—the new Apex Shred mechanic significantly tips the scales of battle in your favor and opens fresh avenues for tactical ingenuity. New Feature: Solo Wave Defense
Rediscover Wave Defense in a new and challenging way: solo.
Each wave is meticulously calibrated to challenge you at different stages—starting at Ops level 45 and scaling to encounters suited for G5 and G6 as the rounds progress. Alongside a trio of dynamic encounters is a new S31-themed central entity, the Baraam, anchoring the battles in thematic intrigue.
On the frontline, you’ll face the relentless Ferengi Plunderers (T1) and the formidable Orion Prowlers (T2). These foes aren’t just marked by their robust Apex Barrier defenses; they are further augmented with specialized buff groups designed to counter popular PvE strategies. One set of buffs, known as “Not Playing Nice,” amplifies their piercing stats, weapon damage, and inherent barrier strength—nullifying the benefits of well-crafted defensive crews. Meanwhile, “Black Market Armaments” boosts their Isolytic Damage and Defense while simultaneously reducing the opponent’s Critical Damage, a combination that especially troubles Enterprise-E and Critical-focused lineups. Although both enemy types share these enhancements, Orion Prowlers bring them to bear at even greater magnitudes, making them particularly challenging.
These hostiles appear across a range of levels—specifically at 45, 48, 50, 51, 55, 60, 61, and 65—ensuring that the pressure steadily mounts as you progress. Surviving these waves will not only earn you significantly boosted rewards but also push you to continually refine your fleet in preparation for even greater challenges.
Progression and Rewards
As you dive into these new systems, you will earn powerful currencies and exclusive items to enhance your fleet, most of which are accessible via the Section 31 Faction Store. The coveted Section 31 Access Key, a premium currency unique to Solo Wave Defense, unlocks a host of upgrades including specialized buffs like Refinery Overhaul for various ship types, and opportunities in the Shadow Market that allow for flexible ship-parts conversion and improved cost efficiencies in both Terran and Section 31 transactions—all of which further bolster your Apex Shred capabilities.
In addition, new rare and epic officers have been tailored specifically for Interceptors, Explorers, and Battleships, while an expanded suite of Chaos Tech options offers epic and rare buffs such as Soran’s Trilithium and Chronophage to enhance your overall combat prowess. You’ll also have the opportunity to collect shards for Artifacts introduced in Update 75—including the Friendship One Probe, Amelia Earhart’s Plane, and DTI Plaque—as well as discover powerful new refits like the Borg Cube Transwarp Drive and G6 Field Repairs. The deeper you progress, the stronger your alliance becomes, so keep a close eye on the WD Battle Pass for even greater rewards.

Bug Fixes and Improvements
First-Time User Experience (FTUE)
Boldly Go Mission
- Issue: Players could perform other in-game actions outside the guided flow during the “Boldly Go” mission, specifically while engaging the Nausicaan Interceptor.
- Fix: The tutorial now properly restricts actions during this phase, ensuring a focused and seamless mission experience.
Ship Repair Freeze
- Issue: If players waited for ship repairs to finish without tapping the “Free” button, the game became unresponsive once the repair completed.
- Fix: The game now remains responsive whether players tap “Free” or wait for the repair timer to expire naturally.
Tutorial Progression Stalls
- Issue: Immediately after the first dialogue, the required indicators sometimes failed to appear, leaving players stuck without guidance.
- Fix: All tutorial steps now display properly, allowing new Commanders to continue progressing without interruption.
Wave Defense
- Issue: In some cases, Wave Defense events did not initiate once the countdown reached zero, even if players tapped “Start Now.”
- Fix: Wave Defense now reliably kicks off at the correct time, ensuring Commanders can dive into the action.
Action Queue
Text Overlap in System View
- Issue: When multiple hostiles were queued in system view until the queue was full, tapping anywhere in the system caused the “00s” and “Queueing” text to overlap.
- Fix: These texts have been adjusted to remain separate and clearly visible, even under a full queue.
Alliance Tournaments
Unable to Collect Task Rewards
- Issue: After completing an Alliance Tournaments task, the “Collect” button occasionally remained deactivated.
- Fix: The “Collect” button now activates properly, allowing players to claim their well-earned rewards.
Leagues Reset to ‘Novice’
- Issue: Changing the game’s language caused the Alliance’s League status to revert to “Novice League.”
- Fix: Language changes no longer affect Alliance League standings.
Events
Battle Pass Frame Distortion
- Issue: On Windows and Mac platforms, the Battle Pass frame appeared distorted and did not match the intended artwork. (iOS/Android were unaffected.)
- Fix: The Battle Pass frame now renders correctly across all platforms.
System View
Missing Background Art for Systems
- Issue: Several system backgrounds were missing or distorted, affecting multiple locations (Chalor Prime, Vorex Cluster, Xyren Cluster, and more).
- Fix: These systems now display the correct background art on all platforms, eliminating graphical issues.
Missions
“Relocation” Mission Text
- Issue: The final objective “Return to your station” incorrectly displayed “Retrieving…” in the mission description.
- Fix: The mission text has been updated to display the correct objective.
Factions
Bajoran Faction Store
- Issue: Ship abilities that were already unlocked still appeared as purchasable.
- Fix: The store now correctly hides or disables items for already-unlocked abilities.
Faction Favors Scrolling
- Issue: Players could not scroll through Faction favors in any Faction tab.
- Fix: All favors are now scrollable, ensuring Commanders can view and interact with all available Faction perks.
Faction Store Info Panel
- Issue: When switching Factions with an open favor info panel, the panel remained open, even after navigating away.
- Fix: The favor info panel now closes automatically when changing Factions.
Terran Faction Store Spinner
- Issue: The loading spinner for Arena bundles did not appear during certain actions, causing bundles to look locked for a few seconds.
- Fix: The spinner displays correctly, indicating loading progress and preventing confusion about bundle availability.
Away Teams
“Upgrade Operations to Level 8” Message
- Issue: Even when the Away Teams module was already built and players met the requirements, an incorrect prompt appeared, directing them to upgrade Operations to level 8.
- Fix: This message has been removed for players who already meet the Away Teams requirements, ensuring accurate prompts.
Leaderboards
Alliance Tournament Rank Icon Overlap
- Issue: Rapidly switching between Alliance Leaderboard and Player Leaderboard caused the tournament rank icon to overlap player names.
- Fix: The interface now updates properly, ensuring no overlap occurs when switching views.
Arena Combat Power Destroyed Not Counting
- Issue: In Arena matches, “Power Destroyed” stats did not increase for Leaderboard tracking.
- Fix: Power destroyed in Arena battles now correctly contributes to Leaderboard statistics.
Stores
Claim Bundles Black Screen
- Issue: After claiming any store bundle, some players encountered a black loading screen, requiring a client restart.
- Fix: Claiming bundles now transitions smoothly, preventing the black screen freeze and allowing players to continue gameplay uninterrupted.
